You sometimes have a strong drive for completing important tasks, but you will often not be driven if you do not feel the task is important enough. You actively seek out activities that will make you happy, including parties, hanging out with family and friends or even thrill seeking through sports etc… You also tend to be fairly impulsive.
You are very motivated by seeking reward for your behaviour. The offer of a reward (such as a promotion for working hard or winning a bet) will keep you motivated to complete difficult activities.
ou are motivated to avoid things that you don’t like. This can sometimes mean trying to avoid activities you don’t enjoy, or attempting to escape punishment or pain. Sometimes you feel nervous.
Not a good variety of questions. May as well have asked are you dead or alive. Questions seem to already have an outcome in mind. Questions like do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you enjoy being around people or are you a loner? Are you a problem solver? Are you more oriented to solving other people’s problems or do you prefer solving non-people oriented problems? Do you tend to see things in terms of black or white, right or wrong, yes or no or do you see things on a sliding scale of grey
I am always looking to know more about myself and my personal habits and behavior. What I did not agree with is I am not impulsive just the opposite and patient and reliable
At the end i was surprised how they access the marking criteria and i am always looking for ways to improve with goal settings and if i work towards a goal/s i may achieve it down the track as the saying goes nothing is impossible.
Goal setting is very impressive a few years a back in 2014 i was ranked 25TH in the country but my original goal was to make the top 50 but i was rather happy to make the top 30 as my chosen sport is ten pin bowling.
When i first started i was ranked 79TH so its a huge leap and achieving that goal was really awesome how i put my mind to it and i worked hard and hard work does pay
You have commented on the accuracy of the results, however because of lack of headings, I was unclear what sections came from the motivation test (results) and what sections included your comments and discussion around the results?
